A Muslim school denied recognition in Belgium cannot open its doors to educate children after an inspection found some nefarious links to an Islamist group.
Selam college is a school based in Belgium. It was due to open its doors this September, however, after an inspection, Flemish Education Minister Hilde Crevits decided it was best left closed.
In a decisive political move, Minister Crevits found that the school had an affiliation to the Belgian Islamic Federation. The federation has very close ties with Milli Görüs, which is a Turkish Islamic Movement that has similar aims as the Muslim Brotherhood.
What is Milli Görüs?
Milli Görüs is a Turkish Islamist movement founded by Necmettin Erbakan who died in 2011. His views were radically anti-western and anti-secular, and during his life, he controlled no less than five Islamist political parties in Turkey. Those parties and the activists it produced sought to undermine the Turkish secularist Kemalist government. The name Milli Görüs simply means “National Vision”, that vision came to fruition over time as the secularist Kemalist governments power waned over the years.
As of 2012 Milli Görüs claimed to operate more than 514 mosques and cultural centres in eleven European countries. Most of these mosques and cultural centres are concentrated in Germany. The claim is that European membership is around 87,000 while German membership is approximately 30,000. The organisation believes that it has about 300,000 people attending its affiliated mosques and cultural centres every week in Europe.
Milli Görüs is an Islamic movement that operates within the Turkish diaspora all over Europe, but it has also had a profound effect on Turkish politics. It should come as no surprise that the Milli Görüs manifesto calls for a rejection of secular “Western” values and opposition to all kinds of “infidel” economic and political ideas. Turkey has become more “Islamised” and less “Western” under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Erdogan and his Justice and Development Party (AKP) are directly affiliated with Milli Görüs; in fact, Erdogan’s political mentor was Necmettin Erbakan himself!
Why Should We Take Notice Of Milli Görüs?
Alparslan Kavaklioglu, the head of the Turkish parliament’s Security and Intelligence Commission back in March 2018 said:
“Europe will be Muslim. We will be effective there, Allah willing. I am sure of that.”
Erdogan himself said: that the borders of Turkey span –
“from Vienna to the shores of the Adriatic Sea, from East Turkistan [China’s autonomous region of Xinjiang] to the Black Sea.”
This is about as a direct reference to borders of the old Ottoman Turkish Empire as you can possibly get, insinuating his love for Islamic Imperialism. You can find that speech by clicking HERE.
Some Turkish government documents had been leaked and made public in 2017 by an Austrian politician by the name of Peter Pilz who said:
“We were surprised ourselves when we saw that Erdogan’s Turkey has built a tightly meshed spy network from Japan to the Netherlands, from Kenya to the U.K. In every single state, a huge spy network consisting of associations, clubs, and mosques is being employed via the embassy, the religious attaché, and the local intelligence officer in order to spy on Erdogan critics around the clock.”
Pilz also confirmed that Turkey oversee “a wide network of nongovernmental entities, which range from religious organisations to private businesses”.
One of those “religious organisations” just so happen to be Milli Görüs!
A Small Victory For Common Sense
When we hear of a politician using his common sense by shutting down a threat to democracy before it can produce more Islamists hell-bent on destroying the West, we cheer!
An investigation carried out on Sealem college found that it did not meet several conditions for recognition. Schools must respect, for example, the Belgian Constitution, as well as international treaties, particularly those relating to human rights, and to those of children.
Flemish Education Minister Hilde Crevits said that:
“The report submitted by the education inspection states that Selam College does not satisfy this condition.
The report’s conclusion was reached on the input obtained from Belgian state security.
The education services agency also concluded that the recognition cannot be authorised.”
Thank god not everyone in Europe have lost their minds. Islamism is cancer, until today, did anyone of you even know about Milli Görüs? They are but ONE Islamist organisation based here in the U.K and Europe, we are fighting an enemy who wants us blind.
Time to open your eyes and identify the enemy within, there are many.
