A few months ago, I interviewed a well known Palestinian activist by the name of Issa Amro, in the West Bank city of Hebron.
Besides justifying and minimising terrorism, Issa claimed that the big bad Israeli occupation stops him from being able to visit his friends coffee shop on the other side of the barricade.
At the time I took it on face value, I believed him because I know how tight security is that area due to the daily violent attacks on Jews.
And to be honest, I also tried entering the other side but was turned away as it was only open to Muslims.
It turns out he was lying.
Pallywood strikes again.
