THE CHAIR of the Tory Muslim Forum has compared leadership frontrunner Boris Johnson to Adolf Hitler, sparking a huge backlash.
In the usual tone of attack that Muslims and Leftists use to silence their opponents, Mohammed Amin, the chair of the influential Conservative Muslim Forum vowed to quit the party if Bojo becomes party leader and PM.
His reason for the comparison was because Boris exercised his free speech last year and compared Muslim women wearing the burqa to ‘letterboxes’ and ‘bank robbers’.
The majority of Britons backed Johnson when he made those refreshingly honest remarks.
Speaking on Radio 4’s Today programme Mohammad said:
“I have been a Conservative party member for over 36 years, and we don’t expect our politicians, our Prime Minister, to be saints, but we do require a basic level of morality and integrity and of all the candidates in the Conservative party leadership election, Boris Johnson is the only one that I believe fails that test and I’m not prepared to be a member of a party that chooses him as its leader.”
“I would resign after 36 years,” added Amin.
He was told that many Tory MPs and Britons think that Boris “is the right man” for the job, Amin said:
“A lot of Germans thought that Hitler was the right man for them.”
“He as far as I’m concerned has an insufficient concern about the nature of truth for me to ever be a member of a party that he leads.”
The Conservative Party cleared Mr Johnson of any wrong-doing over his comments last year.
