Today we have a brief look at the launch of new advanced mobile technologies. Are 5G frequencies killing birds and brains?
The Midlands Mindless Test Subjects?
5G has officially arrived here in Britain; the West Midlands are “winners” of a national competition to become the innovative home of high-speed internet connectivity. This means the West Midlands are in effect, the test subjects of 5G technology.
You can read more about that by clicking HERE.
The Urban Connected Communities Project have kicked off a large scale 5G pilot with hubs in Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton. There are literally millions of pounds available for the project coming from the government, and it’s “partners”.
Minister for Digital, Margot James said:
“5G has the potential to dramatically transform the way we go about our daily lives, and we want the citizens of the UK to be amongst the first to experience all the opportunities and benefits this new technology will bring. The West Midlands Testbed, which is the first of its kind anywhere in the world, will be instrumental in helping us realise this ambition”.
The West Midlands Combined Authorities are focusing their 5G efforts on the automotive, construction and health sectors to drive economic growth and transform public services. The NHS will be one of the “beneficiaries” of 5G.
Is 5G Dangerous?
Most mobile users here in the UK are on the 4G network which uses (approximately speaking) a 2 gigahertz frequency. The 5G network uses millimetre waves and is up to 90 gigahertz which means 5G will be up to forty-five times more powerful than 4G.
Below is a chart that demonstrates the power and utilisation of frequencies.
Electromagnetic fields (EMFs), is also known as electromagnetic radiation. EMF consists of photons in an electric field and a magnetic field that run perpendicular to each other. These two fields travel together in an invisible “waveform” and “frequency”.
Read more about that HERE.
EMF’s are separated into two groups, low and high-frequency radiation types. Low-frequency types are produced by microwave ovens, computers, visible light, smart meters, Wi-Fi, cell phones, Bluetooth, power lines, and MRIs. High-frequency types are produced by ultraviolet (UV) light, X-rays, and gamma rays and are a form of “ionising radiation” which you can read more about HERE.
Basically “ionising radiation” is extremely harmful to human and animal life.
Although 5G frequencies are “non-ionising”, they are forty-five times more powerful than 4G and many health professionals say that not enough research has gone into the potential health risks involved.
Looking at the video above where 5G antenna has been installed, it seems to have a severe and detrimental effect on the birds in the area.
